Featuring the latest Bluetooth protocols,
your HUAWEI smartphone can
connect to several Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
If your phone is running EMUI 9.0,
Magic 2.0 or a later version, it can
connect to up to three audio devices at the same time. For example, you can listen to music on a speaker and answer a
call on a headset or car kit. Besides that, it
can also connect to other Bluetooth devices, such
as BLE bands, smartwatches or selfie sticks.
To set up your phone for multiple Bluetooth connections, open the Settings, go to About phone and tap on the Build number several times, until the message ”You are now a developer!” is displayed. If you have a lock screen password, you will be prompted to enter it.
Return to Settings, search for Maximum connected Bluetooth audio devices and select the maximum number. Restart your phone for the change to take effect.
Now, when
your phone is connected to a smart watch and
a Bluetooth headset, it is
still able to detect your Bluetooth car kit and connect to
it
when you get into your car.
If it is connected to different audio devices, you
can choose which one will play the audio and easily
switch between them.
If your HUAWEI smartphone is running
EMUI 8.X, you can
simultaneously connect to two Bluetooth audio devices
(such as headsets or speakers) and to
multiple non-audio devices
(such as smartwatches, keyboards, mouses or selfie sticks).
For example, when you are
making a phone call via a smartwatch, your phone is
still able to detect your Bluetooth car kit and connect to
it
when you get into your car.
Or if you are
listening to music on a Bluetooth headset, your
phone will
remain connected to your smart band as well.
When your smartphone is
connected to different audio devices, you can choose which one will play the audio and
easily switch between them.
