Have you ever wondered how you could rapidly transfer files or pictures from your HUAWEI phone? HUAWEI Share is the answer for you.

It allows you to instantly transfer data between your smartphone and other HUAWEI mobile devices (phones or tablets). You can send photos, files or even apps, without consuming your mobile data.

Enable HUAWEI Share

To start using HUAWEI Share, please make sure it is first activated on both devices.

1.   To enable HUAWEI Share, swipe down from the status bar and touch the icon. Touch and hold the icon to enter the HUAWEI Share settings screen.

2.   You can also activate this function from the Settings menu; open the Settings, search for Huawei Share and enable the toggle.

HUAWEI Share uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to transfer data, so when it is  activated, both features are automatically enabled.

Transfer files between mobile devices using HUAWEI Share

Send Files

To send files, photos and videos to another mobile device using HUAWEI Share, select on your smartphone the content you want to transfer and tap Share.

Select HUAWEI Share as the sharing method and on the list of available devices, touch the icon of the device you want to send the data to and confirm the connection. No confirmation is required if the two HUAWEI devices have been logged in using the same HUAWEI ID.

Receive Data

To receive data via HUAWEI Share, swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, tap to enable this function and touch ACCEPT when the file transfer notification is displayed.

The received files are saved by default to the Huawei Share folder in Files.
