How to change your phone number or email address if they have already been associated with a HUAWEI ID?

To protect your account, a phone number or email address can be associated with only one HUAWEI ID.

But, sometimes you may find your number or email address have already been linked to a HUAWEI ID.

What to do in this situation?

Verify whether you have previously associated your phone number/email address with a HUAWEI ID

Enter your usual phone number or email address and try to log in to your HUAWEI ID to find out if it has already been associated.

Use a different phone number or email address

If you find your phone number or email address already linked to a HUAWEI ID and you wish to change it, please submit an account change request.

Reminder: The request is more likely to be accepted if you submit it from your frequently used device.

How to submit a change request on your phone?

If you are logged in to your HUAWEI ID:

Go to Settings > HUAWEI ID > Account and security > Phone/Email > Change, then fill in the information according to the onscreen instructions.

Go to Settings > Log in with HUAWEI ID > Report issues, click Change phone number/email address > START, then fill in the information according to the onscreen instructions.

Once your request is accepted, your new phone number or email address will be linked to your HUAWEI ID.

Your HUAWEI ID is your key to access all HUAWEI Services; please make sure it is linked to the right phone number and/or email address.
