The magazine style of the EMUI 10 is also visible when we talk about the camera interface, creating a balance between functionality and aesthetics.
Probably the most visible effect is the new font and camera menu. The text is brighter and bolder, while the bottom-bar was cleaned and now it displays only the shooting modes and the menus.
The selection of the shooting modes is smoother, so you can quickly select the way you want to take a picture. Moreover, a red dot was introduced to highlight the active mode.
The slider used to adjust different settings was also redesigned and improved.
When trying to zoom in or out or to change other parameters, the value is clearly displayed in the centre of the screen, while other visual elements become invisible for a few moments.
This way, you can comfortably adjust your camera settings without any annoying distraction.
With EMUI 10, the shutter button gets a more natural feel. It simulates the button of a mechanical camera and, when taking a photo, it even replicates the appropriate sound.
As for the video recording, EMUI 10 introduces an assistive grid and horizontal level, allowing you to shoot perfectly levelled clips. You can activate them both from the video settings.
EMUI 10 also brings a diverse range of filters. Besides the traditional „standard”, „vivid” and „smooth” option, now you have other
9 filters to choose from and give your pictures a new look. You can opt between monochrome or other colour hues.
Moreover, now you can control the strength of the filter using the intensity slider.
You can easily activate the filters by simply touching the icon on the top of the viewfinder and then selecting the desired option.
