Start With
Are you tired of the same old, plain pictures? Use the EMUI 8 and above camera to take moving pictures and remember wonderful moments forever.

With this function, you can capture images one second before and after the shutter button is pressed and merge them into one dynamic picture.
Step 1
Enabling moving pictures: open the Camera App of your phone and point it towards the moving object you want to shoot (you can't capture dynamic effects if the objects are static).

Then tap on the small circle icon      on the top of the screen. It will become orange/blue and a message will let you know that moving pictures are enabled.
*TIPS : If you want to take moving pictures using the front camera, switch to it and select the Photo mode.

Then tap on the small circle icon      on the top of the screen. It will become orange/blue and a message will let you know that moving pictures are enabled.
Step 2
Taking moving pictures: hold the phone as steady as possible for a couple of seconds and tap on the shutter icon      to take a moving picture.

*TIPS: For capturing a moving picture you can tap on the shutter button only once.

You don’t have to tap it at the beginning and the end of the recording, as if shooting a video.
Step 3
Viewing moving pictures: the moving pictures will be saved in JPG format. Go to Gallery, tap Albums and then tap Camera.

Select the image and tap the small circle icon      on the top to view the dynamic effect. The moving picture automatically stops after a complete playback, but you can also touch the screen at any time to stop the playback.

*TIPS: You can also press and hold on the picture to rewatch its dynamic effect.
Step 4
Sharing moving pictures: you can also send the moving pictures to your friends.
Select the image you want to share in Gallery   >   Albums   >   Camera and then tap on the share button      . Then choose a sharing method and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

In order to play the dynamic effect, the receiving device must be a Huawei device that supports moving pictures, otherwise the moving pictures will be displayed as static images.
